Emperor Specialty Foods Ltd

Emperor Specialty Foods Ltd has been importing premium gourmet foods since 1986. Initially, the company focused on fresh shiitake mushrooms but soon expanded to include dried mushrooms, truffles, and other fine ingredients. By 1995, they began importing mushrooms from China, and in 1998, they became the first Canadian company to import fresh mushrooms from China via ocean shipment. Their operations grew further with the opening of an office in China in 2001, allowing them to diversify into fruits and vegetables.
