Gir National Park is a fun place where people can enjoy the thrill of going on safaris inside the forest. This park has a huge number of tourists and many people come here every year. They like their rides a lot but some things are important to pack for a nice safari ride. These are some essential things you need to pack for a nice safari experience in Gir National Park. 

1. The main thing that you need to bring when coming for a ride is the IDs. You have to bring the IDs that you have provided at the time of booking your safari rides. Without the IDs and Permits, entries are not allowed inside the park. 

2. Bring your comfortable clothes when coming for a memorable safari ride. Try to layer your clothes, it is advised to pack Lightweight and breathable fabrics like cotton or linen during summer. Packing lightweight jackets and sweaters is advised during winter. 

3. Keep a pair of comfortable shoes like sneakers or hiking boots in your bag so that you can wear them when going for the ride. This wild park of Gujarat has a rocky path so wearing comfortable shoes will be suitable for enjoying the ride (you can even get the chance to get down from the jeep).

6. You can find different kinds of flora and fauna in Gir National Park including bugs and insects, so to protect yourself from their bites, you should bring insect repellent or bug spray when visiting the park. Do bring sunscreen, it's a must to avoid harmful UV rays. 

7. Carry a backpack when coming for an adventurous ride in Gir. In your bag bring a water bottle, snacks, a first aid kit, and any medicine that you’re taking for your health concerns. Try to bring a small backpack so that you can stay more comfortable and enjoy your safari.
